Wayward Pines Season Two

WAYWARD PINES: Based on a best-selling novel and brought to life by suspenseful storyteller M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense”), WAYWARD PINES is an intense, mind-bending 10-episode thriller starring Academy Award nominee Matt Dillon (“Crash”) as a Secret Service agent on a mission to find two missing federal agents in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, ID. Every step closer to the truth makes him question if he will ever get out of Wayward Pines alive. WAYWARD PINES will join the schedule in 2015 on Fox. So I started watching Wayward Pines during the first season. I couldn;t get into it, maybe it was because I was working and stressed, maybe because I was unfairly judging its creator. Then they announced season two start date.and I realized maybe I should give it another go.

Now the show is created by M. Night Shyamalan which turns a lot of people off because of his films. I actually liked some of his movies but I hated The Happening. The show is a mystery drama. I don’t want to give away too much because its meant to be twisty and confusing.

The show is about a small town that seems to have its own way of doing things. It is a completely boxed in town gated city with lots of rules and surveillance. The idea of what happens when you lock people up and don’t tell them why. There are monsters and people and people who blur the lines as monsters.

I love Terrence Howard in the show and Carla Gucino is really great too. It’s worth a watch if you like this type of show. Mystery drama with monsters. If you enjoyed Lost or The Gates you might enjoy catching this. The newest season starts tonight so why not get caught up. Thanks-for-visiting-Wayward-Pines
