Gears of Wonderland by Jason G Anderson

written by Jason G. Anderson
So I picked this up, one because I’m a Alice in Wonderland fan, a steampunk fan, and just because I love retellings, new spins and different takes on old tales. I really enjoyed it. It describes quite a bit of his ideas on steampunk contraptions in it.
What I really loved about the book was the twist on characters and how Wonderland had changed since Alice had visited many years ago. He brought in smaller characters from the original story and gave them big parts. He added new characters and connected them to the original characters. I really love the way he sorta weaved in the old story making it much like a reality and a tale told to children in Wonderland.
The main characters one being from Wonderland and one being from our time play off each other well and you come to love and enjoy them. The main villian in the story is portrayed evilly and you keep wanting him to get what’s coming to him.
I really love his ideas on society and how strong one person’s influence can be. I enjoyed reading the book a lot.
You can pick up a copy at your local bookstore or on amazon.com
Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
