Salvation Army Anaheim Grand Opening
I got up early yesterday to go to the grand opening of a new thrift store just a few miles from my house. I didn’t know if it was gonna be crazy because sometimes too many people show up and sometimes almost no one shows up. Its all a toss up.
I got there about 30 minutes early and there were about 40 people in line. They had a truck set up and they were giving away krispy kreme donuts and coffee. I waited to grab a donut on my way out. It was delicious I hadn’t had a krispy kreme in quite a while.
They let us in at 9am and told us that hidden through out the store was 250 items that were all free. It was one person and household. I found about 10 different free items and in the end I chose a pink jar with a heart on the lid.
The pricing was very good, cheaper then the goodwills in the area. I got womens shirts for $1.99. The goodwill the cheapest womens shirts are $5.99. I also got a men’s shirt that was also $1.99
I ended up not buying a lot and if you want to see my thrift finds I will be posting them over on http://www.thethriftedkitten.wordpress.com
